Eloise CASH Accounts

Caymanian Account for Skills and Homeownership (CASH), a financial head start for every eligible Caymanian child.

Built on a simple belief: when effort is matched with capital, opportunity becomes ownership.

In Honour Of

The story behind the name

Named in honour of Ms. Eloise Seymour, a Caymanian taxi driver for 45 years who saved every penny she could and believed hard work should be matched with opportunity. When capital was scarce, she pledged her home and her savings to unlock opportunity for her son. The CASH programme carries that same principle forward for the next generation of Caymanians.

  • Save early
  • Invest patiently
  • Match effort with capital
  • Build something lasting

  • CI$1,000 An opening investment made at birth for every eligible Caymanian child.
  • Uncapped Contributions from families, employers, private donors, and the Cayman Islands Government.
  • S&P 500 Invested in a low-fee index strategy, gradually de-risked as adulthood approaches.
  • Age 25+ Unrestricted access; from 18–24, capital is used for approved education, trades, or a first home.

Overview

A financial head start, from day one.

ELOISE CASH gives every eligible Caymanian child a financial head start, beginning with a CI$1,000 investment at birth, disciplined long-term investing, and the ability to use that capital for education, skills, homeownership, and entrepreneurship.

How CASH Works

From a first deposit to a lasting balance sheet

  1. 01

    Anyone can contribute

Contributions are uncapped and may be made by families, employers, private donors, and the Cayman Islands Government.

  2. 02

    Invested to grow

Funds are invested in a low-fee index strategy anchored on the S&P 500, with risk reduction approaching adulthood.

  3. 03

    Ages 18–24 · purposeful use

Access is limited to approved wealth-building uses: educational and training tools for trades, or a first-home deposit in Cayman.

  4. 04

    Age 25+ · full access

The account holder gains unrestricted access to use their capital however they choose.

Why This Works

Three forces, working together

Compounding

Compounding over 18 years turns small, consistent contributions into meaningful capital. Time is the most powerful financial tool.

Matching

Employer, family, private-donor, and Government matching dramatically accelerates outcomes.

Direct Impact

Funds go directly to individuals, not programs… results are measurable, transparent, and accountable to real families.

Not a handout, a foundation

Building Caymanian balance sheets, for a generation

CASH is a simple, transparent system to build wealth over time… starting with every child, and compounding for a generation.
